Michael Behrendt is a Graphic Artist, Illustrator and Designer working as a High Fashion Illustrator and Freelance Commercial Artist in Wichita, Kansas. Illustrating, building and collecting American Classic Automobiles, Hot Rods, and Customs since birth (1946).

The influence of the early fifties and early sixties with style, class and "cool" are rendered in black and white using pencil, pen and ink, with colored pencil for special effects.

The gripping use of light, lines and contrast with the noble Behrendt way of viewing the automotive images, gives the illustrations a bold visual impact. Thus, the viewer experiences not only the image but the energy of the image itself.

The illustrations are digitally captured directly from the original artwork and reproduced using only museum quality materials and processes. The rendering, the paper, and the printing process work in harmony to provide the viewer with AUTOMOTIVE ARTISTIC VISUAL ACCELERATION!
