I own that car now. I have owned it for 30+ years & still haven't got it finished. Getting closer though. I bought it way back when for $250. I wanted to buy it several years earlier when I was about 16 & it was for sale out at Thorobred Chevrolet for $1200. Tried to talk my dad into buying it, but we just didn't have the cash. Anyway about 5 years later I found it on south Palisade street, 4 flat tires, front suspension was all screwed up, & back full of old tires. I have talked to Jerry several times over the years & he knows that I have it. It now has a 350, 350 turbo, & the Candy Apple Red & gold lace paint has been replaced with a GM Flame Red. I hope to get it on the road in the near future. I was really surprised to find the picture on your website! I know it was in one of the old car magazines a long time ago, but cannot find any record of it. Just thought I would share that info with you. Keep up the good website.
